Raising and caring: repairing designs

At the dawn of a greater awareness of the prefigured human actions (designs) in the face of the alarming evidence of an increasingly hostile social and natural environment, and which urges us to discuss what and how to face what today challenges the modes of existence on earth, this article welcomes, consequently, the challenge of thinking about repairing the design: the reflection on damage, care and fragility, in order to repair this power of design that makes us human, bringing it closer to a natural idea of nurturing. For this purpose, it is considered that a key perspective -which may provide alternatives to the current civilization crisis- is to critically think about some of the most influential paradigms on which a good part of design and its derived actions have been built, such as the case of economies and their designs, politics, social dynamics and axiology (among other defuturized aspects of design that are bringing us closer to the hecatomb). Equally, this text proposes to review, according to the changing meanings, the dynamics of the design action, with the interest of putting in ethical-constructive crisis fundamental concepts about caring such as: manage, maintain, protect, control, repair, among others that, in the same way, have used hegemonic semantics.
Likewise, the above discussions coincide with diverse social dynamics that Colombia is going through; discussions that converge in the text reviewing the concepts and paradigms of care and reparation as one of the current dynamics.
Likewise, it is proposed to review, according to the changing meanings, the dynamics of design action, interested in putting in a constructive crisis, fundamental concepts around caring such as: managing, maintaining, protecting, controlling, repairing, among others, which, in the same way , have used hegemonic semantics.
