Vox Magazine, embeddings and ensembles in art and literature

Abstract

The different ways in which a cultural publication can be read, provide some answers regarding the strategies and actions outlined by a prototype of an assembled magazine such as Vox, from Bahía Blanca (Argentina). Its design, in the matrix of the atlas, bets on the mobility of the contents, which generates varied results in the reading. Thanks to this, it is built as an object that achieves the exchange of many new elements, separated, each with a certain autonomy; in turn, new modes of unity emerge, and transcend those of conventional magazines, so the carrier of the text operates as an organizing agent. The result is a process of great tendency to the exchange, the interrelation, the mixture, the openness to other dimensions such as literature, plastic arts, design. In this mode of building meanings, the magazine can be observed as a piece of art itself.
