Three festivals of urban and alternative music in eastern Antioquia. An approach to the true rock of the province, from its communicative dynamics
Main Article Content
This investigation includes the communicative practices of the people who converge in the realization of three festivals of urban and alternative music of Antioquia, to give account of the motivation and materialization of the same. The theoretical basis started from the category “communicative practices”, heir to the perspective of “social practices” of Michel de Certeau and Pierre Bordieu. Elements of Howard Becker’s conception of “worlds of art” were also rescued, together with a methodological approach to the processual analysis of Renato Rosaldo. It was then understood the planning and production of a festival, as a social and communicative practice, immersed in interpersonal relationships with subjects of genders, beliefs, races, economic conditions and different backgrounds. Because of this, they will always be forced to negotiate their ideas and actions in order to reach points with which not everyone agrees; but that can be carried out.
