Social interfaces of creation: conceptions and dynamics of co-creation in the social context
Main Article Content
This article is the result of the doctoral thesis Social Interface of Creation: Community of La Plata–HiperLab Laboratory, a research–creation process developed since 2013 in the Doctorate in Design and Creation of the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), and financed by Universidad del Valle (Colombia). This study presents a historical overview of the concept “interface”, built through a thorough literature review. At the same time, it exposes different theoretical and methodological approaches that led to the encounter between two knowledge interfaces: on the one hand, the community of the island of La Plata, Bahía Málaga, located in the municipality of Buenaventura-Colombia, a fascinating territory because of its culture, biodiversity, their ancestral knowledge and the creative power of its habitants. On the other hand, there is the Hypermedia Laboratory (HiperLab) of the Universidad del Valle, a community of researchers that bets on the critical and aesthetic use of media and technologies in order to generate artistic works with an outstanding social line.
