As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published nor is it under consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Editor's Comments).
  • The journal accepts submissions of empirical and theoretical research articles using the IMRaD format, as well as evaluation, reflection, and systematization articles, along with interviews, translations, and reviews.
  • Texts must be accompanied by a cover page containing the following information: author's name, institutional affiliation, position, email address, academic titles, a brief profile describing their interests and related areas, and, when applicable, the title of the original research of the text or section describing the article's origin.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines, available in the About the Journal section.
  • Research articles will undergo peer review by expert evaluators, following the double-blind review process. Final publication decisions are made by the journal's editorial committee based on criteria such as quality, relevance, research rigor, conceptual and argumentative rigor, informational interest, and adherence to the expressed guidelines.
  • Authors must include their ORCID ID within each article. If they do not have one, they can register on the platform: https://orcid.org/ to obtain it.

  • Notes should appear at the end of the text.
  • Articles must follow the APA citation style (7th edition).
  • Texts must be submitted in Word format, using Times New Roman font, size 12, with a 1.5 line spacing. Each submission should include the title, abstract (not exceeding 150 words), and keywords (maximum of four) in both Spanish and English. There are no word or page limits for manuscripts submitted to the call for papers.
  • Whenever possible, URLs are provided for references.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables should be placed within the appropriate sections of the text, rather than at the end.
