Conflict of interest policy
CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY
The members comprising the editorial team of the Nexus journal, as well as the reviewers and authors participating in the editorial process, commit to maintaining confidentiality and exclusivity with the Nexus journal. If any of the parties involved in the editorial process (review and publication of articles) are affected by a conflict of interest, they must abstain from participating in the process.
The editorial process of manuscripts occurs under the transparency of good editorial practices, so that no step of the editorial process is evaded for any reason. Each and every manuscript submitted to the journal follows the correct process of reception, evaluation, and publication. Under no circumstances should economic, academic, personal, or commercial interests prevail in decision-making.
In the case of the evaluation process, which is conducted under the double-blind modality, it is of paramount importance to consider that the reviewers, who are professionals with extensive knowledge of the articles' topics, must declare their inability to evaluate if they recognize the authorship of the manuscript (thus preventing anonymity), to avoid their judgment from influencing the assessment of the article.
