The political speech mediated by computers: discourse analysis of the twitter accounts of both president Santos and former president Álvaro Uribe Vélez

This article is an approach to dynamics and change that occurs in political discourse following the emergence of a new concept: the discourse mediated by computers, which came thanks to technological advances and the emergence of Web 2.0. This study analyzes the semantic and syntactic construction of messages posted on the twitter digital social network of President of the Republic of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos Calderon and former President Alvaro Uribe, who has been characterized by showing enmity because of its ideological differences. The project includes digital research methods, for exemple: digital content analyze and the design of visual web cartographic to representate the dynamics that occur in the microblogging tool methods, which allow us to observe the discussion communities around these two political and the impact generated with its discursive style.
