The Siren's call Transdisciplinarity and its risk in Contemporary Art

This reflexive article aims to explore the way in which hybrid artistic processes have managed to overcome the challenges given by inter and pluridisciplinary tasks. However, when dealing with other disciplines, the common place according to which “today everything is an artwork” has revealed a question not yet fully answered. An historical and conceptual revision leads to the idea that such strategies are not so recent as it seems, and, by the contrary, there are certain borderlines necessary to attend.
